| 2017-02-21 | M.Montani | High Speed Camera Test (Photron) | On february the 21st we performed a test on an High Speed Camera from Photron. The model used is the AX200, but we used it with the same frame rate of the AX50.
We did 4 breaking tests with 4 fibers.
TEST01:
- fiber with nail head 20170111_01
TEST02:
- fiber with nail head 20161027_03 (broken at 50kg)
TEST03
- fiber with old anchors 20160428_3 (broken at 43kg)
TEST04
- fiber with nail head 20170111_2 touched in the middle with hands.
The optic used was 28mm, and the light was provided by two powerful LED headlamps.
The tests confirmed that the camera is suitable for our aims. |
